If you are anything like me, you love stunningly simple hairstyles. Those that look like they took hours, but most likely only took minutes. I found this beautiful Waterfall Braid and thought it was a must share.
Here’s a quick, four-step tutorial on how to accomplish this great look!
1. Lightly mist a texture spray, such as Shu Uemura Liquid Fabric, from midlengths to ends for hold. Using a 1 ¼-inch curling iron, wrap 1-inch sections starting at the nape. Leave out the ends for a beach-y effect. Alternate the direction of the curl for more texture.
2. Mist more texture spray from midlengths to ends, using a scrunching technique to disperse the product.
3. Create the waterfall braid. Starting at the temple, take two strands of hair and twist once to start the braid. Drop the bottom piece and pick up a piece from underneath. Wrap the new section with the previous and repeat until you reach the center crown. Clip to hold in place then repeat on the other side.
4. Take both rope braids and twist them together, securing with a few bobby pins. Finish with your favorite hair spray for hold.
This is a great braid for your kids going back to school, or for yourself! Experiment and enjoy!
